Grow Your Own Delicious Brazilian Grapes with the Escarlate Jaboticaba!

The Escarlate Hybrid Jaboticaba (Plinia cauliflora x aureana) x aureana, also known as the Scarlet Brazilian Grape, is a unique and fast-fruiting tree perfect for home gardeners. This hybrid is backcrossed to the white jaboticaba (Plinia aureana), resulting in a plant that can fruit in just 3-4 years, significantly faster than regular jaboticaba trees which can take 6-8 years. Enjoy delicious, sweet fruits from your own dwarf Escarlate Jaboticaba, which can even be grown in a pot for many years.

This listing is for one 2-5” tall Escarlate (Scarlet) Hybrid Jaboticaba seedling tree starter plant, grown in a 2.5” square pot. Grown in Southern Florida, these plants are ready to be shipped to your home. Please note that trees grown from seeds may not always be identical to the parent tree. Enjoy FREE Shipping on your order!

Important Considerations: Escarlate Jaboticaba trees can sometimes be challenging to grow, as they are prone to chlorotic leaves and burnt leaf tips. Amendments to lower the soil pH or drenching with chelated Iron may be necessary. We are currently unable to ship to Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and California. Please check back in 2-3 weeks if you are located in these states. Also, please do not place an order if temperatures in your area are below 40℉ (5℃) or above 95℉ (35℃).

    Benefits of Growing Escarlate Jaboticaba:

    • Fast Fruiting: Enjoy fresh fruit in just 3-4 years.
    • Dwarfing Habit: Perfect for growing in pots and small spaces.
    • Delicious Fruit: Large, plump, red/green fruits with a sweet taste.
    • Edible: Enjoy fresh fruit right from your garden.
    • Evergreen Foliage: Provides year-round beauty.

Plant Care Instructions: Included with every plant or printed on the other side of the included receipt. Small plants need protection from cold, wind, sun, and dry-out. Place all plants in a spot of moderate temperatures (70-80F) in good light but NOT in direct sun for two weeks until they adjust from shipping in darkness. NO direct sun, NO partial shade – FULL SHADE ONLY! Sun will burn small plants! Allow the plants a week or two to adjust to their new home before transplanting or fertilizing. If you plan to plant them in the garden, gradually increase their exposure to sunlight and outdoor conditions! Temperatures falling below 60F can result in plant damage.
