    Plant Your Own Green Onions

Enjoy fresh, flavorful green onions right from your garden with this set of Green Chinese (ShanDong) Onion, Allium Fistulosum. You have two great options: either a bunch of 15 bare roots organic green onions or 20 live plant in a 4” pot. These onions are known for their strong flavor and ease of planting, making them perfect for both novice and experienced gardeners. These are perennial plants, offering drought and cold resistance for lasting growth.

Our plants are shipped bare root, with care taken to maintain root moisture using wet paper. While the roots may appear a little dry or the leaves slightly yellow upon arrival, this is normal and won’t affect their ability to thrive. Plant them immediately and keep the soil moist for the first 7 days to ensure successful establishment. These green onions are incredibly versatile. If you want to enjoy the leaves, simply harvest the tops as they grow, and they will continue to regrow year after year. For larger white parts, plant them deeply, covering the plant from the root to where the leaves bifurcate.

These onions are incredibly flexible for gardening. Plant them in a vase, garden bed, or container, either indoors or outdoors. They thrive in full sun or partial shade, making them adaptable to various environments. We ship our plants on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays via USPS Priority Mail to ensure efficient delivery. If the plants appear wilted upon arrival, keep them in a shaded area for 3-5 days until they regain their vigor.

We take great care in packaging our plants, but unforeseen issues can sometimes arise during shipping. If you encounter any problems upon arrival, please notify us immediately with pictures. If the images clearly show damage, we will provide a free replacement within 7 days. You may also be eligible for one free replacement within 10 days of your order for damage-related issues, with the customer covering the shipping cost.

Thank you for your shopping! We appreciate your support and encourage you to leave us a 5-star review to help us share these wonderful plants with others. Enjoy gardening!
